The guys in the nightshirts are Les, Paul & Steve, who also happen to be the husbands of Deniz and two of her dancers.

Drummerdary accompany the dancers at Haflas and other public events - our main instrument is the darabuka, although we also use the Djembe, tambourines & frame drums. We also double as chauffeurs for the girls, MC, DJ & scenery makers.

We have taken part in workshops with professional Egyptian and Turkish drummers, and have a great enthusism for Eastern rhythms and music.

We were previously involved with various other kinds of instruments and music, mainly rock 'n' roll (now it's sheikh, rattle & roll!).
